One is known as the ‘scariest man on the planet’, stands a towering 6’8 and weighs in at 320 lbs. The other calls himself the ‘Iranian Hulk’, and even though he’s only 6’1, he’s 340 lbs of pure terror. And in 2019, it’s rumoured that both of these men will make their MMA debuts when they face each other for what would surely be a colossal sized bout. -

You may recognize Martyn Ford (aka the ‘scariest man on the planet’), a professional bodybuilder, actor, and all around shit-your-pants inducer, from his roles in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and this year’s Final Score alongside former WWE star Dave Bautista. -
3.
Now, the imposing figure has set his sights on MMA, officially confirming last month that he’s signed with Poland’s MMA organization Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW). -
4.
Ford has no previous professional fighting experience, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for KSW. Much like the former MMA organization Pride, KSW tends to think that the spectacle and entertainment value holds just as much importance as the fighting. And if they can line up this monstrous matchup, what a spectacle it will be. -

The man who might be standing on the other side of the cage for Ford’s debut match… none other than Sajad Gharibi. Better known to his 400,000+ Instagram followers as the ‘Iranian Hulk’, you might recognize him from his role in your nightmares. -

Makes sense. Just don’t make him angry. -
7.
Gharibi is an avid weightlifter, NO SHIT!, a volunteer soldier, and although it’s still unclear if he’s actually signed on to fight, he reportedly has some background in wrestling, a popular sport in Iran. So that could make things a bit more interesting. -

Don’t sleep on the ‘scariest man on the planet’ though. Ford’s been training for his debut with the former World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, and he says he’s ready for anyone who crosses his path, even a shark or a bear. According to him, “I reckon I could do both at the same time actually.”
